Christmas Blog Party Give Away

Today's the official starting of the Blog Hop. See the link to the right?  That's where you can find the list of all the blogs participating. I hear there are 250!  Yeah, 250!  Talk about spending some computer time!
I appreciate your moments spent here- we quilters love to share, don't we? And much quilter-love to all you other quilty bloggers whose writings & pictures I get to enjoy while DH is watching his sports.

You'd think that I'd be sewing while all those sports are going on but, see, I spent 6 years away from home until I could retire the first time (in 2004) and now I don't like to be away from him - not even as far as the sewing "studio" is from his Lazy Boy chair! Too mushy for you? That's what happens when you spend 42 out of 58 years with 1 man. (no,we've only been married 35 years. the other 7 were just waiting for the big day!)

TO ENTER: Please leave me comments either here or on yesterday's post about how many projects you have left to complete before Christmas. Drawing will be on Dec. 17 and I'll add both comment lists together.
I got to quilt yesterday, afterall!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Don't forget to comment to ENTER!

Don't hit me, but I have ZERO projects left in my "must make" list. I still have to mail one package and some envelopes, but they're within Canada so they'll arrive in time if I mail them Monday.

On my "nice to do" list (gifts I will make if I have time) I have about 2 dozen very small/quick items - zipper bags, simple stuffies, beaded pins for pincushions, some embroidery stitchouts to include in Christmas cards - I could probably do them all in 2 or 3 days if I got off the computer and got to work, LOL!

I only have 12 projects of mine to finish. The grand kids have a lot more that gramma has to help with.

My To Do List before Christmas includes:

* 2x "Creeper" stuffed toys
* Harry Potter quilt for my son
* Pillowcase top & pants for my daughter
* Crochet jug cover for a girlfriend
* Mug rugs to add to my girlfriends' Christmas gifts

I'm hopeful about the "Creeper" toys, the Crochet and maybe the outfit for my daughter - I think I will run out of time to finish my son's quilt properly, so it might be his birthday present instead.

I am doing pretty well in the Christmas projects department. I have 5 completed and ready to mail. And I have three left to do. One table runner still needs quilting (local family member) and then two embroidery projects. Whew!

I don't have any projects I have to finish before Christmas. I love what you said about your husband. I feel the same way about mine. We've only been married 21 years though. :)

I don't have any projects that need to be done by Xmas, but I do have a lot of projects I'd prefer to have done before the end of the year so I can start working on new projects for next. Love the prize offer and thank you for the opportunity to enter.

I need to embroider and sew a T-shirt for my daughter's Asian Ball Jointed Doll to go with the doll's pj pants I made for it. I also need to make a few PJ pants for real people for gifts, maybe 3 or 4, depending on the time I end up with. And lastly, I cast on to make some "podster gloves" for my son in law. These are like fingerless gloves with a mitten lid to cover or uncover fingers and thumb so he can use his cell phone and ipod when it is cold.
