Labels are important. How else could we know stuff about things?  (how's that for double-speak?) On THIS post, I showed the sort-of-a-Quilt-of-Valor made by Pat Hargis for her nephew who's just returned from overseas duty.  I still just LOVE that backing fabric used on this quilt!

Yesterday, Pat came in to show me the finished quilt.  The binding was done with a navy blue fireworks print. The quilt looks great. Have a look at the labels on the back of the quilt.  The nephew's immediate family is pictured with a short story of the promise that if he'd just return safely, he'd be given his own Quilt of Valor!  (Normally Quilts of Valor go to injured soldiers.)

Isn't this GREAT documentation of a quilt?  YES! It is!
