Yet another Finish! and give-away notes prove quilters are related!

We're on a roll around here!  My friend Chris brought a child's quilt to be quilted and it's finished!  OK, so it's a little quilt but it still counts as a finish, doesn't it?
For months there was a mental block around here. Umpteen projects started while I waited for my quilting MOJO to return. Several quilt tops made and new things tried & tested and that was really fun but it's worrisome to know there's a wonderful quilting machine sitting there unused because my head is ...I don't know.... GONE on VACATION, I guess!  Anyhow, it seems to be back on my shoulders now and I'm really enjoying the newly found "finished" word.  The little one shown above is the 1st "during the week" quilting I've been able to do since the summer.   I did sneak in a 45 minute nap at the grocery store yesterday-- could that be the reason I had more energy when I got home?  Also, I played hooky yesterday just long enough to have lunch with my long-time BFF Marsha--I'm sure that helped. Nothing like friends to get you going again.
Speaking of friends getting you going, I'm loving all the give-away comments.  Everyone seems to be doing the same things I am- trying to finish projects, starting more UFOs or WIPs, wishing we had more quilting/sewing time, etc.  You know- there can be thousands of quilters in the same place, like at a quilt show or Market or some such place, and it's as if there are NO STRANGERS! Conversations can be struck up with anyone and we all speak the same language. With quilting, there's so often not a "right or wrong" way to do things, just different ways of getting to the same success. I love that- it's so easy to get along with quilters. Thank you, quilters everywhere!

I really love how blogs make the quilting community that much smaller, too! :)

And the beautiful thing about blogs is that you can "meet" so many nice people from all over the world !!!

Hey! This is awesomeness. I'm working on a piece as well, but nowhere as beautiful as this.
